Wet the Clarisonic brush head with warm water, press the power button, and gently move the brush in circular movements across the face. It is recommended that you use the brush for 20 seconds on the forehead, 20 seconds on the nose and mouth and 10 seconds on each cheek. When you are finished, rinse the brush and place back in the charger. The Clarisonic comes with two power levels: normal and low. The Clarisonic MD is remarkably gentle for all skin types, including skin affected by complicated conditions.** Ask your dermatologist why gentle cleansing is so important for the skin of people suffering from seborrheic dermatitis, rosacea and acne.

*Unless recommended by a skin care professional

**If you are under a doctor’s care for any skin condition, please consult your physician before using the Clarisonic.[/vc_column_text][/vc_tta_section][vc_tta_section title=”Which power setting and brush head should I use for my skin type?”][vc_column_text]The Clarisonic MD is designed for use with most skin types. Your skin is constantly changing, and due to its dynamic nature, you may want to use different power levels, brush heads and a shorter or longer duration. The Clarisonic is packaged with the sensitive brush head (white plastic base) installed. The normal brush head (gray plastic base) is also included. For ultra-sensitive or delicate skin, we also offer the delicate brush head (blue plastic base).

We recommend that you first use your Clarisonic with the sensitive brush head at the low power level for a one-minute duration (this is the factory setting). Then you can customize it for your skin type: normal, sensitive or delicate brush head; normal or low power setting; one- or two-minute duration.[/vc_column_text][/vc_tta_section][vc_tta_section title=”How do I adjust the power level?”][vc_column_text]The Clarisonic MD has three power levels. Power level is indicated both audibly and visually. When the Clarisonic is turned on at normal power, there are three ascending beeps and the yellow light is illuminated. At low power, there are three descending beeps and the yellow light is turned off.

To toggle between the settings, hold the power button down for three seconds continuously when turning on the Clarisonic. Listen for the change in beeps. The Clarisonic will operate at this power setting until you change it.[/vc_column_text][/vc_tta_section][vc_tta_section title=”How do I adjust the duration time?”][vc_column_text]The Clarisonic MD features a proprietary one-minute T-Timer™ that beeps and pauses momentarily to indicate it is time to move to another part of your face. The Clarisonic is factory set with a one-minute duration. To change the cleansing duration, turn yourClarisonic on and hold the power button for at least 10 seconds. At around three seconds, you will hear three tones (related to the power level), and then you will hear beep tones relating to the optional cleansing and interval beeps. Refer to the User Guide for more information.

Note: changing the duration time resets the power level.[/vc_column_text][/vc_tta_section][vc_tta_section title=”Can I share brush heads?”][vc_column_text]It is recommended that you do not share a brush head with another individual. Do not share brushes if you or any other Clarisonic user have any skin conditions.[/vc_column_text][/vc_tta_section][vc_tta_section title=”How do I clean my Clarisonic?”][vc_column_text]Once a week, wash the brush head and the handle separately using warm soapy water to remove any residue buildup. The handle is sealed and fully waterproof. NEVER attempt to open the brush handle for any reason. To dry the brush after use, rub the brush head against a towel for 5-10 seconds while the Clarisonic is powered on. DO NOT use abrasive cleaners or chemicals to clean any part of the Clarisonic. DO NOT put any part of the Clarisonic in a dishwasher.

UNPLUG the charging cradle before you clean it. After unplugging the cradle, wipe it with a soft, damp cloth. DO NOT immerse the cradle in water.[/vc_column_text][/vc_tta_section][vc_tta_section title=”How often should I charge my Clarisonic?”][vc_column_text]Charge your Clarisonic overnight after every 30 minutes of use. For example, if you use the brush once a day, you only need to charge it overnight every 30 days. If you use it twice a day, charge it overnight once every two weeks. If the Clarisonic is used for 30 or more minutes without being charged, the brush handle will beep immediately following the brushing cycle to alert you to place it in the cradle for charging.[/vc_column_text][/vc_tta_section][vc_tta_section title=”How often should I replace the brush head?”][vc_column_text]The Clarisonic brush heads should be replaced every 3-4 months as the bristles become fatigued and less effective over time. Purchase replacement brush heads from your skin care professional, physician, medi-spa or Clarisonic retailer or online at http://www.clarisonic.com.
