What is Restylane® Lyft made of?

Restylane® Lyft is made from non-animal stabilized hyaluronic acid gel. Restylane® Lyft is a non animal product and does not pose any risk of allergies. Hyaluronic acid is a resilient chemical and can easily adjust and mold to the facial contours. Unlike other dermal fillers, no prior skin testing is required prior to the injection of Restylane® Lyft.

How does Restylane® Lyft work?

The hyaluronic acid in Restylane® Lyft  augments the body’s natural supply, which has become depleted with age. The injected Restylane® Lyft  fills up scars, lines and wrinkles on the face. Restylane® Lyft is not a permanent product and is broken down in the body. At most, the wrinkle free face remains for about 6-8 months after injection of Restylane® Lyft. This is a much longer period than any of the currently available temporary dermal fillers.

What is advantage of Restylane® Lyft?

Collagen injections, once very popular, are now obsolete in most cosmetic clinic. The availability of better, safer and longer lasting products have entirely replaced collagen. Restylane® Lyft not only is much safer but also lasts longer than collagen as a dermal filler.

Can Restylane® Lyft be used with other products?

Yes, Restylane® Lyft can be combined with other cosmetic products such as Botox.

Studies from Europe where the product has been widely used indicate that side effects are rare. The most common side effects have been temporary redness, swelling, itching or tenderness. These side effects usually resolve in a few days.

What is the difference between Restylane® Lyft and Restylane®?

The major difference is that Restylane® Lyft (click link) is a large molecule compared to Restylane®, because it contains more hyaluronic acid molecules. This means that Restylane® Lyftcan easily fill in deep skin wrinkles, scars, and creases better than Restylane®. Restylane® on the other hand can be used to treat the finer lines in fair skinned people.

Who performs the treatment?

Restylane® Lyft injections can be performed by Dr. Gray or one of his experienced registered nursing staff. Most nurses and physicians have had relevant training required to ensure that they perform the procedure with due care.

Who should do my procedure?

Because of the technical expertise required to do this procedure, without any mistakes, one should take care and select a board certified physician who is familiar with the technique and skillful. One should always ask if the physician is aware of the product and has undergone a training program with fillers. When there is easy money to be made, there is a bandwagon of people rushing to-do this procedure. So buyer beware whom you choose as your surgeon.
