What are the benefits of Juvederm® over other treatments?

Juvederm® is manufactured especially to be easy to inject, and it comes in three variations so it can be tailored to the needs of the patient. Juvederm® has the highest concentration of hyaluronic acid in any filler, which provides an excellent, natural result. Juvederm® is the only hyaluronic acid filler to have proven itself effective in patients of all skin types and tones.

Dr. Gray and MD Laser Spa have one of the busiest Juvederm® and injectable filler practice in Pleasanton and one of the busiest in Northern California. He was chosen to be a regional trial center for Juvederm®. You can feel confident that Dr. Gray and his staff are expert injectors and they can
help you understand which filler is best for you.

Dr. Gray is a member of the exclusive Liquid Facelift Association.

Will there be any downtime?

There is no downtime; you may immediately return to your daily activities.

How long do the results last?

Results last six months or longer.

Who should avoid Juvederm®?

Juvederm® should be avoided by those who have a history of excessive scarring, keloid formation, pigment disorders and those who are pregnant or breastfeeding.

Are there any possible side effects?

Temporary side effects include swelling, tenderness, redness, lumpiness and bruising. With any injection there is some risk of infection.

Is additional treatment necessary?

Because the results eventually fade, additional treatment is necessary to maintain a smooth, youthful look.

Instructions before treatment:

Avoid aspirin and other blood thinners before treatment.

Instructions after treatment:

Resume normal activities, but be prepared for some slight redness or swelling. Apply cool compresses to reduce swelling if desired.
